EUREC4A project launches its first international campaign in Barbados exploring the ocean-climate nexus
The newly established EUREC4A-OA project, funded jointly through JPI Oceans and JPI Climate, has launched its first international airborne and oceanographic research campaign in Barbados. The month-long field study will aim to reduce uncertainties around future climate change by gathering extensive data relating to the ocean-atmosphere interaction between trade wind cumulus clouds and mesoscale eddy circulations.
