Paul Trautendorfer

Science-policy advisor

Paul Trautendorfer is the main contact point for the Joint Action on Ocean Carbon Capacities. He is also actively involved in strategic engagements with EOOS, AMRIT, and MMinE-SwEEPER. His academic background is in Communication Science and Global Studies, with a focus on maritime security and ocean governance. Beyond his work with JPI Oceans, Paul contributes to several initiatives aimed at amplifying ocean-related action in Austria. He has a particular interest in the future role of landlocked nations in the context of maritime security.
