As economist and environmental engineer Jella Kandziora has a strong focus on pollutants in aquatic environments. She is the main contact point for the Joint Action Ecological Aspects of Microplastics and the ERA-Net Cofund AquaticPollutants. She is also involved in the Joint Action Munition in the Sea, Underwater Noise and the Strategic Engagement European Ocean Observing System. Prior to joining JPI Oceans she did her PhD in international economics and worked for Project Management Juelich where she administered national and international programmes in the field of sustainable economy on behalf of various ministries in Germany.
