Mission ‘Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030’: High-level event in Palermo & Salina

High-level event in Palermo on 30 and 31 May, and 1 June 2023 on the island of Salina on the Mediterranean lighthouse. The event will be an opportunity to present several case studies and initiatives which contribute to the Mission objectives that may be scaled up and replicated in other sea basins to help set measures for the coming decade.
European Maritime Day 2023

Established in 2008, European Maritime Day (EMD) is the annual EU meeting point on maritime affairs and sustainable blue growth, and the place where ‘Ocean Leaders Meet’ as the slogan goes. As part of the European Maritime Day, JPI Oceans, together with other partners, organises a workshop on the role of ocean literacy in linking science with blue sectors, education and society.

Mission Baltic and North Sea lighthouse: The high-level event in Hamburg on 25-26 April 2023 about the Baltic North Sea lighthouse. The event will focus on concrete actions from Countries, regions and local partners of this basin aimed to making the blue economy carbon-neutral and circular.
